Features of Reduction gear box:

• Gears are made of EN9 integral or ring heat-treated from 230-260 BHN.
  

• Housing will be Steel Fabricated by M.I.G. welding, duly stress relieved in oil fired furnace.
  

• Gear Couplings of Steelmen (MENS) make duly hydraulically fitted in the Input & Output Shafts.
  

• Lubrication will be provided with lubrication lines to bearings and spray lines to gears, but exclusive of gear pump etc. All shafts with bearings Seals 150 and above are equipped with long holes and oil grooves for dismounting of bearings by SKF hydraulic injection units.
  

• Bearings : ZKL / NACHI / KOYO JAPAN / NTN / SKF make. 
  

• MENS Gear Boxes are easily maintainable through a large Inspection cover which allows for inspection of gear teeth and lubricant spray patterns.
  

• Horizontal split case design for ease of maintenance. Large Diameter output shaft and bearings to maximize overhung load capacity. MENS Gear Boxes are robust and reliable, virtually eliminating backlash and friction. Innovative modular construction has Minimized part count to maximize the availability of the product.
  

​Double Stage Reduction Gearbox is attached to the main Mill Motor and reduces the Speed, physically in the different ratios and it delivers more Output Torque. A Connected set of rotating gears by which power is transmitted.
